It was the pure luck of getting lost, and not being able to find any available rooms in Valls, and then in Mont Blanc, that brought me to Prenafeta, a tiny, classically Spanish village at the end of a dead-end road.
I decided to drive back to Madrid from my second visit to Barcelona, so that I could spend some time experiencing the “real Spain”. I would never have guessed that in order to truly find it, I had to get lost.
